CLEAR LAKE - Friends in Clear Lake have received announcements of the marriage of Miss June Loraine
HARDING, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard HARDING, Everett, Wash., to Ensign John D. KASTER, U.S.N. The wedding took
place at Oakland, Cal, Jun 21. Miss HARDING was graduated from Clear Lake high school before going west where she
has been employed in Oakland and San Francisco, Cal., and Seattle, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. HARDING and family moved
west later, having gone about 2 years. Ensign KASTER is originally from Creston [Iowa]. Ensign and Mrs. KASTER
are living at 605 E. 77th street, Seattle.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence BAST of Ventura announce the engagement of their daughter, Dorothy, to William HINRICHS, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. HINRICHS of Indianapolis, Ind. Mr. HINRICHS is employed at the Clear Lake bakery.
Mr. and Mrs. Clyde PHILLIPS, 730 North Federal, announce the marriage of their daughter, Shirley, to C. E. M. Russell
McMENIMEN, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. McMENIMEN, which took place July 29 at the Holy Family rectory with the Rev. R. P.
MURPHY officiating. The bride wore a 2-piece light blue dress with black accessories and her corsage was gardenias. She
was attended by her sister, Mrs. Kenneth McMENIMEN, and Ph.M 1/c Kenneth McMENIMEN, brother of the bridegroom, acted as
bestman. The wedding dinner was served to members of the immediate families in the English room of the Green Mill.
