Miss Dougherty retires
Miss Luella M. DOUGHERTY receives a plaque of appreciation from the American Crystal Sugar Co. and a watch from fellow
workers as she retires after 46 years with the company. With her at the party in her honor at the Holiday Inn are R.
KEITH (left), Denver, Colo., assistant general superintendent for the company; M. C. LARSON (right), Mason City
plant superintendent, and R. FINLEY, retired Mason City plant superintendent. Miss DOUGHERTY, who has been
superintendent clerk, began with the company May 20, 1920. She intends to do some traveling now.
