Edward J. Dougherty is retired
Edward J. DOUGHERTY, 517 S. Connecticut, has retired from Jacob E. DECKER & Sons in Mson City. Prior to working at the DECKER plant, he farmed in the Dougherty area many years.

DOUGHERTY is the grandson of Daniel Edward DOUGHERTY, the founder of the town of Dougherty. The DOUGHERTYS have a daughter, Mrs. Joel IRISH of Mason City.

DOUGHERTY plans in retirement to continue his active interest in all types of sports, especially baseball.
