The marriage of Miss Mayme DOUGHERTY to Mr. Robert ORMSBY occurred at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning May 3rd at St. Patrick's
church of this place, Rev. Father O'RIELLY officiating. Promptly at the appointed hour the bridal party approched the
altar, the strains of mendelssohn wedding march rendered by Miss Hanna BEECHER, efficient organist of the choir. The
church was appropriately decorated which untited (sic) this estimable young couple for life. The bride was becomingly
gowned in all over embroidery wearing a veil and a wreath of smilax and roses and carried bridal roses. The groom
wore the conventional black. The brides maid was prettily gowned in while all over embroidery and carried a bouquet
of roses. The bride was attended by Miss Rose DOUGHERTY and the groom by Mr. Thomas MORAN, cousins repectively of the
bride and groom. After the ceremony the relatives and intimate friends repaired to the pleasant home of Mr. and Mrs. Jas.
DOUGHERTY, parents of the bride, where a sumptious course dinner was served. The bride and groom were the recipients of
many beautiful and useful gifts and conspicuous among them was $100 in gold, a gift from the bride's uncle, Mr. Peter
GROMAN of this place. At 11:30 A.M. the newly weds were conveyed to the depot in a carriage and took the north bound
train for Minneapolis amid showers of rice and best wishes of a host of friends. Mr. and Mrs. Robert ORMSBY will
be at home to their many friends after May 1st. The World joines with their many friends, in the wishes
of a happy successful future to Mr. and Mrs. ORMSBY.
