Sacred Heart church in Manly was the scene of the wedding of Miss Lois COYLE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John COYLE of Northwood and Edward HEGTVEDT, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Eddie HEGTVEDT of Mason City. The Rev. Leo DERGA performed the double ring ceremony. The brid was givin in marriage by her father and her roommate, Miss Lucy FOXEN, was maid of honor. Dean COYLE, brother of the bride, was bestman and ushers were Jack COYLE, another brother, and John NICHOLS, Mr. and Mrs. John CAHILL and Patricia provided the music. The bride wore a gown of white slipper satin adorned with sequins. A seed pearl tiara held her finger-tip length veil and she carried a white prayerbook with an orchid and streamers tied with mums. The maid of honor wore a rose-colored gown with black accessories and carried mums and roses. Helen COYLE, sister of the bride, was flowergirl, wearing aqua with a crown of mums and carrying a basket of rose petals. David HEGTVEDT, brother of the bridegroom, was ringbearer. The bride's mother had a brown dress with green accessories and a corsage of yellow carnations. The bridegroom's mother wore a blue suit with winter white accessories and her corsage was of pink carnations. Following the ceremony, 150 guests attended a reception in the church parlors. The bride's table was centered with a 3-tier cake surrounded by flowers. Mrs. Diane KING was in charge of the guest book and Mrs. Jack COYLE and Arla JOHNSON, cousin of the bridegroom, the gifts. Accordion music was provided during the reception. After a wdding trip the couple will be at home at 510 1/2 5th S.W. For going away, the bride wore a grey suit with red accessories. The bride is a graduate of Manly high school and is employed at St. Joseph's Mercy hospital. The bridegroom was graduated from Clear Lake high school and is engaged in farming.
