Starr Yelland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Yelland, 215 Jefferson avenue northwest, has accepted a position as sports and special events announcer for radio station KOA at Denver, Colo., according to an article in the current issue of Variety Magazine. Mr. Yelland fomerly was announcer for the Golden Gate exposition at San Francisco, Cal.
