CLEAR LAKE - Mr. and Mrs. Albert CHRISTENSON, 200 Burdens St., received a V-mail letter Monday from their son, Pfc. Eugene CHRISTENSON, which read, "Am in hospital. Have been wounded but not too seriously. Don't worry, I will be all right." The letter was written by a Red Cross worker Nov. 25, 5 days after he had been wounded. The message received from the war department a week ago Sunday said that Pfc. CHRISTENSON had been seriously wounded in France Nov. 20. Mr. and Mrs. CHRISTENSON feel much encouraged to know that their son was able to dictate a letter so soon and are looking forward to further messages soon.

   NOTE: PFC Eugene A. CHRISTENSON died on April 2, 1945.
