CLEAR LAKE - Virgil "Whitey" BARKHURST, seaman 1/c, is spending a 12-day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. BARKHURST, 615 S. 3rd street, Clear Lake. Seaman BARKHURST had been overseas since last May and reports back to the west coast the latter part of this week.
