Purchase of the St. Luke's hospital building and the west half of the block on which it is located by Nate Lapiner, Mason City, was shown Saturday on the records of Miss Lola Mason, county recorder. The Sale was made by Allan F. Beck, local realtor, for the B and B. Realty company of St. Paul, former owners of the property. Though the purchase price was not given in the deed.

Some development of the property is expected in the very near future, Mr. Beck said, but he was not at liberty to disclose details Saturday.

The building was started in 1923 but was never completed. Plans to convert it to an apartment building failed several years ago.
