The Wagner Mozart Music Hall was home to concerts and radio broadcasts. Carleton Stewart, Sr., community and Mason City High School band director was closely associated with the music hall which was built in 1936.

The Music Hall was placed on the National Register of Historic Places November 16, 1978.

The building was later demolished due to a bad boiler.
