1893 Musquakie Indian Census

The census of the Musquakie Indians in Tama county was taken the other day.  There was 359 persons living, a decrease of four during the year.  There were twenty deaths and sixteen births during the year.  Males, 195, females 194.  Two Indians have crossed the 100 year line - one being 112 years of age and the other at an even 100, according to the best obtainable authority.
