Brown who being by me duly sworn according to law deposth and sayeth that on the 4th day of June 1838 he the said deponent assisted James W. Tallman high Sheriff of Cedar County to compare a schedule copied from the original schedule of the census or enumeration of the inhabitants of Cedar County and further this depenont seen the said Sheriff set the said coppy up at the house of Stephen Jones in Rochester in said County Sworn and subscribed to before me George McCoy a Justice of the Peace In and for said County George McCoy J.P. Wisconsin Territory} Cedar County } Personaly appeared before me in and for said county Richard Ransford who being by me duly sworn according to law have deposth and sayeth that on the 6th day of June 1838 he the said deponent assisted James W. Tallman high Sheriff of Cedar County to compare a schedule copied from the original scheduled of the census or enumerations of the inhabitance of Cedar County and further this depenont seen the said Sheriff set the said copy up at the house of Stephen Jones in Rochester in said County Henry Hardman in Cedar County George McCoy J.P.
