Elizabeth (Wallers) Swain was born Aug. 30, 1860 in Tipton, Ia. Married William Swain Jan. 12, 1879. Died at the home of her son Aug. Swain at McCausland, Ia. June 25, 1928, age 67 yr. 9 mon. and 25 days

Charles Willer was born December 6, 1867 at Pomeroy, Ohio. Came to Cedar Co. when 2 yrs. old. He died at the Methodist Hospital Sioux City, Ia. June 26, 1928, age 61 yrs. 6 mo. 21 days.

Wm. J. Swartz was born in Clinton Co. Ia. Came to Cedar Co. when 7 yrs. old. Died July 2, 1928.

Anna (Dean) Woleben was born in Tipton, Ia. Nov. 17, 1864. Married Harry D. Woleben June 12, 1889. Died July 11, 1928 in Gulfport, Miss. Age 63 yrs.

J. C. Reichert was born March 27, 1836 at Winterhausen, Bavaria, came to this country as a child, came to Tipton, Ia. in 1856. Died at his home in Cedar Rapids, Ia. July 17, 1928. Age 93 yrs., 3 months and 20 days.

M. M. Stewart died at Iowa City July 26, 1928, age 83 years.

Adeline (Flater) Shaffer was born May 24, 1865 at Bloomfield, Indiana, came to Iowa when 1 ˝ yrs. old. Married to Newton Shaffer March 11, 1881. Died July 26, 1928 near Nevada, Iowa, age 63 yrs., 2 mos. and 2 days.

J. S. Hain was born March 5, 1853 in Indiana, came to Cedar Co. Iowa when two years of age, was married March 24, 1880 to Miss Olive Monroe. Died at the home of his daughter Mrs. O. E. Weaver in Adair. Age 75 years.

Everett F. McClung was born near Tipton, Ia. June 16, 1872. He married Miss Edith Maudsly. Died Aug. 17, 1928 at the Good Samaritan hospital, Los Angeles, California, age 56 yr.

Mrs. Elizabeth (Roberts) Hutcheson was born near West Branch, Ia Aug. 23, 1854. Married Geo. B. Hutcheson in 1879. She passed from this life Sept. 8, 1928 at the Methodist Hospital in Mitchell, South Dakota, age 74 yrs. 15 days.

Mrs. Emeline (Owen) Anderson was born near Lexington, Ohio May 6, 1850. Came to Cedar Co. in 1852. Married C. W. Anderson May 27, 1873 and died at Iowa City Sept. 11, 1928. Age 78 yrs.

Sarah M. (Lowe) Wolf was born at Boyle, Ireland Sep. 23, 1848, came to Cedar Co. Iowa in 1869. Married Blair Wolf. Died Sep. 13, 1928, age 80 yrs.

Mrs. H. W. Wingert was born in Tipton, Iowa. Married H. W. Wingert. Died at her home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa Sep. 15, 1928, age 55 yrs.

Geo. H. Kinney was born in Cedar Co. Ia. April 3, 1857. He was married April 18, 1895 to Mary Emma Seaman. He passed away Sept. 22, 1928, age 71 yr., 5 months and 19 days.

Martha A. (Horn) Goodale was born in Cedar Co. Iowa June 16, 1868. Oct. 27, 1889 she was united in marriage to Elmer E. Goodale, departed this life Sep. 28 1928, aged 60 yrs. 3 month and 12 days.

William W. Chapman was born in Cedar Co. Iowa July 17, 1869. He was united in marriage to Miss Laura Whitman Feb. 17, 1894. Died Oct. 2, 1928, age 59 yrs. 2 months and 25 days.

Rose Catherine (Schaffer) Grubb was born Oct. 27, 1853 in the city of Philadelphia, Pa. Came to Cedar Co. while a child. She married Henry L. Grubb Dec. 25, 1873. Passed away at her home in Kingsley, Iowa Sep. 30, 1928, age 74 yrs. 11 mos. and 3 days.

Charles T. Hipple was born Sep. 27, 1867 and departed this life on Oct. 8, 1928. Age 61 years and 11 days.

Miss Helena (Pfaff) Huey was born at Canton, O. Feb. 28, 1843. When a child she with her parents to Cedar Co. Ia. On March 16, 1865 she was united in marriage with Findley Huey. She passed away Oct. 8, 1928, age 85 yrs. 7 months and 10 days.

Walter James Deardorff was born in Tipton, Ia. May 7, 1862 and departed this life at St. Luke’s Methodist Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Oct. 9, 1928, at the age of 66 yrs., 5 months and 2 days

Maria M. (Dilly) Hawkins was born in West Virginia Nov. 24, 1865. On June 2, 1881 she was united in marriage to Charles S. Hawkins. Passed away at the home of her son Albert Hawkins in Clinton, Ia. Oct. 16, 1928, age 65 yrs., 10 mo. and 23 days.

Mrs. Margaret Ann Shawver was born near Steubenville, Ohio Jan. 16, 1840, came to Tipton, Ia. when 7 years of age. United in marriage with Daniel Shawver in 1858. Departed this life on Oct. 17, 1928, age 88 yr. 9 mo. 1 day.

Forest P. Simmermaker was born near Tipton, Ia. Nov. 12, 1882. On Jan. 15, 1919 he was married to Ella Friday. Departed his life at Hershey Hospital, Muscatine, Ia. Oct. 21, 1928, age 45 yrs. 11 mo. and 9 days.

Henry Moeller was born in Leane, Germany Nov. 4, 1855. Came to this country when he was 2 years old. Married Miss Caroline Rixe in 1879. Died Oct. 25, 1928, age 72 yrs.

Simeon Dunn Casad was born Aug. 13, 1845 in Bellefontaine, O. Came to Tipton, Ia. in the spring of 1870. Died at the home of his niece Mrs. H. R. Ripley Oct. 22, 1928, age 83 yrs., 2 months and 9 days.

Mrs. James Tucker was born in Cedar Co. Ia. on April 9, 1863. On April 11, 1888 she was united in marriage to James Tucker. Passed away on Oct. 27, 1928, age sixty five years, 6 mo. and 16 days.

David Diltz was born Sept. 27, 1856 at Woodbury, Penn. Passed away at his home in Sheridan, Wyo. Nov. 9, 1928, age 92 yrs. Lived near Cedar Bluff, Ia.

Ernest G. Walker was born in Inland township, Cedar Co., Ia. July 9, 1867. On March 11, 1891 he was united in marriage to Kathryn Kassel. Passed away at his home in Tipton, Ia. Nov. 26, 1928. Age 61 yrs., 4 months and 17 days.

Frank Mason was born in Cedar Co. Ia. Sep. 30, 1868 and died in Wichita Falls, Texas Dec. 1, 1928, age 60 yrs., 2 mo. and 1 day.

Blair Wolf was born at Marlboro, Ohio, Feb. 2, 1841. Came to Cedar Co. Ia. in 1856, In 1872 he was married to Miss Sarah Lowe. Died Dec. 6, 1928, age 87 yrs. 10 mo. and 4 days.

Peter D. Seitsinger was born near Buchanan, Ia. Feb. 6, 1850. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth E. Stanly June 25, 1873. Died Dec. 6, 1928, age 78 yrs. 10 mos. and 1 day.

Willie Frank Wirick was born in Tipton, Ia. Nov. 30, 1856. He passed away Dec. 22, 1928 at the home of his sister, Mrs. G. A. Sechler, Tipton, Ia. age 72 yrs. & 22 days.

Charles H. Murray was born in Tipton, Ia. Sep. 15, 1872 and passed away Dec. 23, 1928, age 56 yrs. 3 mo. and 8 days.

Louise (Williams) Little was born near Tipton, Ia. June 21, 1865 and March 4, 1891 was married to William W. Little. She died at Des Moines, Ia. Dec. 24, 1928, age 63 yrs. 5 mos. and 29 days.

C. H. Bartlett was born at Boston, Mass. Oct. 26, 1840. While a young man he came to Cedar Co. Ia. Married Martha E. Blackman of Big Rock, Ia. Died Jan. 1, 1929, age 88 yrs., 2 months and 6 days.

Mrs. L. S. Welty was born in Cedar Co. Ia. November 5, 1869. Married W. R. Welty Dec. 17, 1891. Died at her home near Clarence, Ia. Jan. 3, 1929, age 61 yr. 1 mo. and 28 days.

Mrs. J. N. Boling was born near Millersburg, Holmes Co., Ohio the 15th day of July, 1844. She was united in marriage with John N. Boling Dec. 27, 1864. Came to Cedar Co., Iowa in the spring of 1869. Died Jan. 4, 1929 at her home in Stanwood, Ia. , age 87 yr. 5 mo. and 19 days.

Edith Alberta (Fraseur) Mathews was born Oct. 18, 1882. March 12, 1825 she was united in marriage to Lewis W. Mathews. She passed away Jan. 6, 1919, age 46 yrs., 3 mo. and 17 days.

Mary L. Betts was born in Davenport, Ia. Dec. 30, 1845. Came to Tipton in 1846. Passed away at her home in Mt. Vernon, Ia.

Sophionea (Jennings) Wilkinson was born in Rochester township, Cedar Co., Ia. April 11, 1853. Married Gilpin Wilkinson Aug. 28, 1872. Died at her home in Iowa City Jan. 15, 1929. Age 75 yrs. 9 mo. and 6 days.

Mrs. Lewis Achenbach was born in Schuylkill Co. Penn. Nov. 7, 1854. Married Lewis Achenbach Jan. 18, 1870. Passed away Jan. 15, 1929, age 74 yrs. 2 mo. and 6 days. Came to Cedar Co. when 12 yr. of age.

Ida May (Crees) Wilson was born in Iowa township, Cedar Co. Ia. March 29, 1864. On Feb. 1 she was united in marriage to Alva Wilson. Died in Hospital in Brady, Texas Jan. 16, 1929, age 64 yrs. 9 mo. and 17 days.

Maynard W. Kiser was born near Tipton. Died in a hospital in Sioux Falls, S. D. Jan. 18, 1927.

Alfred G. Yule was born May 5, 1869 in Red Oak Township, Cedar Co., Ia. Died in hospital in Iowa City Jan. 23, 1929. 69 yrs. 8 mo. 18 days.

Clement M. Willey was born at Spencer, Medina Co., Ohio. March 26, 1847. Came to Cedar Co., Iowa when 2 yrs. of age. In 1865 he was united in marriage to Miss Catherine Moore who died in Aug. 1886. In 1891 he married Miss Abby Montz who passed away in 1921. Married in 1926 Carry Beedy. He died on Jan. 28, 1928 at the Iowa Soldiers home at Marshalltown, Ia. Age 81 yrs. 10 mo. and 2 days.

Wendall Willer was born at Pomroy, Ohio Oct. 9, 1859.., Came to Cedar Co., Iowa in spring of 1865. On Jan. 1, 1891 he was united in marriage with Miss Elizabeth Moffett. Died at his home in Tipton, Ia. Feb. 15, 1929, age 69 yrs. 4 months and 6 days.

Miss Lulu Moffet was born in Linn township, Cedar Co. Ia. May 15, 1888 and passed away at the home her sister Mrs. C. C. Stookey in Mechanicsville, Ia. on Feb. 15, 1929. Age 45 yrs. 8 mo. and 8 days.

W. R. Riddle died at the home of his son in Mechanicsville, Ia. March 2, 1929, age 70 yrs.

Sada Jane (Schell) Gladfelter was born in Cedar Co. Ia. April 11, 1866. On Aug. 25, 1893 she was united in marriage to A. M. Gladfelter. Departed this life at her home at Tipton, Ia. March 24, 1929, age 63 yrs. 11 months and 13 days.

Thomas E. Johnston was born in Cedar Co. Ia. March 24, 1864. On Feb. 19, 1891 he was united in marriage to Lulu M. Hipple. Died at the home of his son in Perry, Ia. March 28, 1929, age 65 yrs.

Calvin S. Neiman was born in Cedar Co. Ia. Sep. 14, 1856. In 1881 he was united in marriage to Ida F. Gilmore. Passed away April 1, 1926 at his home in Tipton, age 72 yrs., 6 mo., 17 days.

John C. Ford was born in Tipton, Ia. Nov. 18, 1855 April 11, 1882 he married Miss Elizabeth Mathews. Died May 29, 1929, age 73 yr. 6 mos. and 11 days.
