The 89 anniversary of the organization of the Old Settlers Association of Cedar Co. Iowa was held June 10th 1925 at the Court House. Called to order by the Secretary at 11 o’clock A M. Being the 59 meeting of the association F. H. Milligan was elected chairing of this meeting. T A Spear, John Wingert and Charles Hawkins a committee to recommend officers and executive for the Cedar co Old settlers for the coming year. Meeting adjourned.

Meeting called to order 2 oclock P.M. by the President Mrs. McClure. Prayer by C. K. Hudson. Song by Ladies Quaretett. Reading of minuts of last meeting by Secretary. 2. Alfred Charles Baker born April 12, 1852 at Cheltenham, England. Came to this country 1871. Married Miss Amelia Herbst March 12, 1888. Died June 65, 1925, age 73 yr. 1 month and 24 days.

3. Susan Mae (Mensch) Worrall born in Muscatine Co. Aug. 3, 1869. Married Herbert Worrall in 1888. Died at her home east of Springdale June8, 1925, age 65 years and 10 months.

4. George Winters born in Maryland March 30, 1838, he came to Cedar Co. Iowa when 15 years of age. Married Miss Jane Sweitzer Dec. 25, 1864. Died at his home in Tipton June 13, 1925, age 87 yr. 2 months and 13 days.

5. Wm. H. Blair born April 17, 1843 in Muskingum, Co. Ohio. Came to Cedar Co. Ia. April 9th, 1857. He died at Winterset, Iowa age 82 years.

29. Mary Ellen Hill Long was born in Hamilton Co. Iowa December 20, 1854. Married Aaron Long Jan. 6, 1881. Died in hospital in Rochester, Minn. Nov. 6, 1925. Age 67 years, 10 months and 17 days.

30. Robert Roberdee was born January 19, 1845 at Long Island, N.Y. Came to Iowa in his youth. On Oct. 8, 1868 he was married to Maria Sheldon. Died at his home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Nov. 9, 1925. Age 80 years, 9 months and 18 days.

31. J. H. McDonald was born Nov. 5, 1849 in Salem, Ohio. Came to Cedar County, Iowa in 1867. Married Melissa Stubblefield in Oct. 1874. Died at his home in Cedar Rapids Nov. 15, 1925. Age 76 years and 10 days.

34. Frances L. Sheldon was born in Van Buren, Mich. July 2, 1843. Came to Cedar Co. Iowa in 1855. Married Miss Laura Brown April 9, 1868. She died April 15, 1911. On Sep. 15, 1912 he was united in marriage with Miss Bess Worthington who died Aug. 4, 1922. He died Nov. 26, 1925, age 82 years, 4 months and 24 days.

35. Catherine Lynch was born April 1, 1844 near Bantry Co. Cork, Ireland,. Married Daniel Lynch March 8, 1867. Came to the United States and Cedar Co. Iowa the fall of 1867. Died Nov. 21, 1925, age 81 years, 7 months and 20 days.

36. Olin B. Bigelow was born near Granville, Ohio, Oct. 15, 1852. Came to Iowa when a child on Dec. 25, 1878 he was united in marriage to Miss Lydia Montgomery of Springdale. Died at his home in Springdale Nov. 23, 1925. Age 73 years, 1 month and 8 days.

37. Mary M. (Smith) Jackson was born in Mansfield, Richland, Co., Ohio, Feb. 28, 1849. She was 7 years old when she came to Pedee, Cedar co. Iowa. On July2 1, 1871, she was untied in marriage with Mallery R. Jackson at Tipton, Iowa. Died Dec. 6, 1925 at the home of her daughter Mrs. W. H. Johnson, Muscatine, Ia. Age 96 years, 9 months and 8 days.

38. Rachel (Loder) Mayer was born in Berks County, Penn. Jan. 11, 1836. Married Enoch Mayer March 5, 1854. Came to Cedar Co. Iowa the fall of 1869. Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Dodds Dec. 7, 1925. Age 89 years 10 months and 27 days.

39. Benjamin F. Wallick was born near Massillon, Ohio, Aug., 30, 1841. Married Miss Sarah Roberts in 1865. Died at his home in Tipton, Ia. Dec. 9, 1925. Age 84 years, 8 months and 9 days.

40. Mrs. George Stuckenbruk was born in Cedar Co. Iowa April 30, 1859. Died in the hospital in Carroll, Ia. Dec. 13, 1925. Age 66 years, 7 months and 13 days.

44. Dominic Suchomel was born in Checkoslovakla 1858. Came to this country in 1871. Died near Iowa City 1925. Age 67 years.

45. Amelia (Herbst) Baker was born near Cedar Bluff, Iowa June 27, 1852. She was untied in marriage to Alfred Baker March 12, 1883. Died December 27, 1925. Age 73 years, 6 months.

46. John D. McClean was born Oct. 2, 1845 in Howard Co. Penn. When he was a boy he came to Cedar Co. Iowa. He was united in marriage with Miss Anna Gill, Oct. 7, 1875. Died Jan. 13, 1925, age 80 years 8 months and 11 days.

55. Mrs. Mary (Ives) Dwiggans was born Muskingan Co., Ohio March 5, 1841. She was united in marriage with Soloman Leabhart Feb., 1858. He died in July 1862. Dec. 14, 1865 she was united in marriage with James Diggans who died June 22, 1902. She died Feb. 18, 1926 at her home in Tipton, Iowa. Age 84 years, 11 months and 13 days.

57. Sarah Catherine (Walters) Gaige was born near Rochester, Ia. Dec. 13, 1848. Married to Robert Gaige Dec. 23, 1872 who died 11 years ago. She died Feb. 25, 1926, age 77 years, 2 months and 12 days.

58. J. C. Templeton was born in Inland township, Cedar Co., Ia. Died at San Anglo, Texas March 7, 1926. Age 65 years.

59. Margaret Beizelda (Culver) Bachmann was born at Tipton, Ia. May 24, 1856. She was married to Fred Bachmann Jan. 21, 1875. Passed away at her home at Madella, Minn. Feb. 25, 1926. Age 69 years, 11 months and 1 day.

60. Margaret (Mann) McCormick was born in Cruden Aberdeenshire, Scotland, Feb. 25, 1839. Came to United States in 1869. She was untied in marriage April 8, 1871 Alex McCormick. She passed away at her home in Tipton, Ia. March 14, 1926, age 87 years and 19 days.

61. John Nelson Boling was born near Millesburg, Holmes, Co. Ohio on Dec. 3, 1838. He was married to Mary R. Finney July 11, 1862 who died in less than a year later. On Dec. 27, 1864 he was united in marriage to Harriet Hoyman. Came to Cedar Co. Ia. in 1869. Died March 15, 1926. Age 87 yr. 8 months and 12 days.

62. John D. Werling was born in Tipton, Iowa Aug. 30, 1860. Married Miss Viola Wirick who died four years later. He was married in 1905 to Miss Mable Grant Gates at Vinton, Ia. Died March 30, 1926. Age 65 yr. 7 months and 7 days.

63. George Snyder was born in Tipton, Iowa July 24, 1866 and died March 31, 1926. Age 59 years, 8 months and 7 days.

64. Albert A. Zerby was born in Pittsburg, Pa. December 16, 1846. When five years old came to Rochester, Ia. and was married in 1875 to Miss Nettie Foreman. Died at the home of his son John D. Zerby in Minnesota.

65. E. A. Marks died April 5, 1926 in Corona, Cala. He was born in Muncie, Ind. May 31, 1855 and was married in 1877 to Miss Serilda Stublefield. Age 70 years, 10 months and 2 days.

66. Mrs. Catherine H. Popp she was born in Berlin, Germany May 10, 1847. Came to this county 64 years ago. Died April 5, 1926 age 81 years, 10 months and 28 days.

69. Mrs. Hulda Safley McCauley, was born in Cedar County near Tipton and died at her home in Portland, Oregon, March 21st, 1926.

70. John Cihla was born in Bohemia. He came to Cedar Co. in 1870. Died April 23, 1926, age 77 years and 21 days.

71. Mrs. Leslie Van Sickle came to Cedar Co. 1866. Settled in Massillon township. Mr. and Mrs. Van Sickle celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary March 1, 1926. Died at her home in Cedar Rapids, Ia. April 27, 1926.
