The 64 anniversary and 47th meeting of the Old Setters Association of Cedar Co Iowa was called at order by President F H Milligan at 2 oclock P M at the Court House.

A committee of one Judge J T Moffit was appointed to select officers and Executive Committee for the ensuing year. This was followed by much appreciated music rendered by Mesdames Furnish McBurney Brotherlin and Hoffman. Rev C M Wallace offered prayer. Minutes of last meeting read and adopted. Treasurer report showed no funds on hand. Collection amounting to $19.14 was taken. Ladies Quartette then sang another selection. This was followed by Report of committee in selection of Officers and committee for the following year for President James Cessford, Vice president J Wm Wingert, Secretary Mrs Sheldon, Treasurer J W Reeder, Executive Comm M H Miller, George J Beatty, Will Leyle, T A Spear. Retiring President F H Milligan placed the cane which is the symbol of the office in the care of newly elected Pres James Cessford who then took the chair and presided during the remainder of the meeting. Song by Ladies Quartette followed by reading of obituaries. Rev C M Wallace then addressed the Old Settlers volunteer speeches by O S Johnson, Mrs Wm Mather, Josiah Dugeas and O A Spear. Judge T Moffit called the roll of Old Settlers present to and including 1856.

2. Mrs. Sarah (Myers) Wirick was born in Richland Co Ohio Jan 11th 1831. Came to Cedar Co Iowa in 1849. Married Joseph Wirick April 1st 1852. Died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Will Werling June 22nd 1920 aged 89 years 5 months 11 days.

3. Thomas J Mahoney was born in Tipton Cedar Co Iowa Nov 5th 1864. Married Miss Margaret Lofters Oct 5th 1895. Died at his home in Tipton July 1st 1920 aged 55 years 7 months 26 days.

4. T J Bossert was born in Blair Co Penn Nov 12th 1838. Came to Cedar Co Iowa in 1850. Married Miss Kate Hogan. Died at Hollywood California July 26th 1920 aged 71 years 8 months 14.
