CCGS Township Schools Scrapbook
Index of Historical Newspaper Articles

The Cass County Genealogical Society (CCGS) maintains a scrapbook of newspaper clippings about country/township schools. Below is an index to the news articles currently contained in the scrapbook. The handwritten index has been transcribed as written, and in a few cases the exact date is missing. Surnames referrenced in each article will be gradually be added to the index as time permits. Some of the articles contain photos of the students and school(s). The scrapbook is held in the Genealogy Room at the Atlantic Public Library.

All surviving issues of the Atlantic newspapers have been digitized at Advantage Preservation, where they can be viewed by date.
