Emily Carmichael Harris was born in Indiantown Twp., Bureau, IL on Feb. 11, 1839 and died Apr. 2, 1937 in Iowa. She is buried in Lewis Cemetery, Cass County, Iowa beside her husband, Manoah P. Harris.
