Above, Ada Victoria Larson and Louis Lawrence Bornholdt on their wedding day. Louis and Ada were married Dec. 20, 1911 in Highmore, Hyde, South Dakota. The couple in the back is Anna Wilhelmina Larson (Ada's sister) and her soon to be husband, Edward Frederick Lee.

Louis filed at least 3 patents with the United States Patent Office. On February 26, 1923 Louis filed an application for a Compression Tester, which was patented by the United States Patent Office on April 15, 1924. On June 22, 1923 Louis filed an application for a Pump (see Pump Page 2, Pump Page 3). Louis' pump was patented by the US Patent Office on June 3, 1924. And in October, 1923 Louis filed a patent application with Herman Rasmussen for an Air Moistener, which was patented on June 9, 1925.

Louis moved from South Dakota to Atlantic, Iowa in 1926. He passed away at the Atlantic Hospital on Feb. 6, 1947 and is buried in Atlantic Cemetery. His obituary has been transcribed to the Cass Co. Obit Board.
