13 Above photos are all from the collection of Christine (Anderson) Petersen, submitted by Cheryl Siebrass.
Andrew H. and Anna (Jorgensen) Anderson, purchased the grocery store in Lorah in 1902 and operated it until their retirement in 1921.  The store was known as "A.H. Anderson and Son" and contained the Lorah Post Office.  The family resided in living quarters attached to the store, but at retirement Andrew and Anna moved to the first house west of the store.  Andrew and Anna had five children (some of whom are shown in the photos above):  Otto, Christine, Edmund, George and Mayme.
