ORANGE W. WHEATLEY was born in Vermont in 1848 and worked in the vicinity of Green Bay, Wisconsin, prior to 1873, when he moved here and later owned a large farm on Sections 10 and 11 of Brighton Township. He married Lusina Elvina Sheffer in 1873 and they had ten children - Wilbur, Jessie, John O., Belle, Moses, Bert, Lizzie, Walter, Ada, and Eugene.
