G. A. Lindberg or "Gus," as he is known to his host of friends in this city and vicinity, has been the manager of the local office of the Postal Telegraph Company since the first of January, this year, prior to which time he was for fourteen years and more the first trick operator at the local office of the Rock Island.

Mr. Lindberg is a telegrapher of long experience and most proficient in his calling, combining also with proficiency in his work the faculty of making and holding friends, both in and out of business. During his service as manager of the Postal office here the business has grown and thrived, the increase being due to the splendid service always given by the company, which has been enhanced greatly during his management and the Postal office is kept up to a standard in line with the reputation of that Company for good service.

Mr. Lindberg is a member of the M. W. A. and of the Postal Employees' organization. He is a hustler for business and takes good care of all who patronize his company, in good shape.
