RUSS HODGKINS.
One of the best known business establishments in Atlantic is The Merchants' Cafe, owned
and manged [sic managed] by the always genial "Russ." Several years ago he engaged in the restaurant business and has been in it from that day to this, and has spared no expense in making if one of the most complete of his kind in this part of Iowa. By close attention to business, by a thorough acquaintance with its details, he has endeared himself to his patrons and built a following any man might well envy. Previously to his coming in Atlantic he occupied for fifteen years a position of trust with the Southern Pacific, Union Pacific and Oregon Short Line railways in their dining car services.
Russ Hodgkins is of the salt of the earth and is making good in his chosen work, and has by his integrity and courtesy earned the good opinion of all who know him. Fraternally he is a member of the Elks and Forresters of America and is an everlasting plugger for a greater Atlantic.
