the bank of C. M. Myers, the pioneer banker of Anita. After a period of two years and six months he had an opportunity to become associated with Franklin Whitney in the Bank of Atalntic [sic Atlantic] at Atlantic, Iowa, and for nine years perfected his knowledge of this line of commercial life. On the first day of May, 1894 Mr. Forshay received an advantageous offer to become the president of the Citizens Savings Bank at Anita, a position he still retains, and has made this bank a prosperous one. In 1888 he was united in marriage to Miss Belle Hutton of Atantic [sic Atlantic]. They have two sons. Ralph, the older, is assistant cashier of the bank of which his father is president; the younger, Royce W., is attending school.

Mr. Forshay is a Mason, K. P., Woodman and Odd Fellow. He is alive to everything looking to the good of his town and is a hustler in anything he undertakes to do.
