CASS COUNTY'S PRIZE BABIES

On Pages 50 and 51 of this edition appear two groups of the prize winners in the baby contest conducted by the News-Telegraph. One of the groups is that of children up to two years of age and the other that of children from two to four.
In the group of younger children the pictures are of the following:
No. 1--Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stier.
No. 2--Ewing Lowe, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Lowe.
No. 3--Daughters of R. T. Allen.
No. 4--Joseph, son of Dr. and Mrs. C. B. Burke.
No. 5--Child of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Hutchins.
No. 6--Leila M., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Anderson.
No. 7--Dale Lewis Heath.
No. 8--Max Leroy Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Baker.
No. 9--Chas. Irwin Stoodt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Stoodt.
No. 10--Marion Anthony, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Anthony.
No. 11--Kenneth Hayes Swart, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Swart.
No. 12--Paul DeVere Gilbert, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Gilbert.
In the group of children from two to four years old the pictures are of the following:

No. 2--Helen Grace Backsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Backsen.
No. 3--Child of R. A. Kaddock, Atlantic.
No. 4--Charlotte Priscilla, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Cornell.
No. 5--Evelyn M., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Highley.
No. 6--Vera, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cambridge.
No. 7--Dale Werner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Taylor.
No. 8--Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Backsen.
No. 9--Blossom Walker.
No. 10--Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Hanson.
No. 11--Son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Oakes.
No. 12--Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Miller.
There were nearly a hundred entries in the contest and the judges had no easy task in making the decision. The interest in the contest was intense.
