ATLANTIC'S PROFESSIONAL MEN

ATTORNEY'S-AT-LAW (Cont'd)

J. B. ROCKAFELLOW.

Atlantic ranks deservedly high in the state for the ability of its members of the legal fraternity.

From the profession here have come some of the brightest lights in Iowa. Not least by any manner of means comes J. B. Rockafellow, who has created a place for himself in the esteem and confidence of the people.

J. B. Rockafellow

As a counsellor his thorough knowledge of the civil and criminal law makes his advice valuable because of its accuracy and force. His office is in the Mutual Benefit building, where he has access to a large private library. Standing ready as he always is to do everything in his power to advance the commercial and material interests of this city, makes him a splendid type of citizen. Mr. Rockafellow represents as local attorney the U. S. Express company, Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific railway, Western Union Telegraph Co., and formerly was referee in bankruptcy for the U. S. District Court for the southern district of Iowa.

Mrs. Rockafellow was formerly Miss May Young and is popular in the social and charitable life of Atlantic.
