CASS COUNTY'S POLITICAL CANDIDATES (Cont'd)

H. O. STONE.

H. O. Stone, candidate for County Treasurer, was born in New York State in 1860. He came to Cass county and settled in Lincoln township in 1881; for six years he taught school in the winter and farmed in the summer, but gave up teaching to give better attention to his farm work and has made a success of farming.

Because of the difficulty of getting help and a desire to educate his children he moved to Anita six years ago.

At the suggestions of friends he announced himself as a candidate for County Treasurer, for which place he is eligible and competent, having always voted the Republican ticket and having a good education along the lines required in the office he seeks.

H. O. Stone

Mr. Stone is a good citizen, and unswerving Republican and goes before the voters with a record which he can point to with reasonable pride. If nominated and elected he will give the best there is in him to the office he seeks and will serve with credit to himself and his constituency.
