MRS. NANCY STANLEY

Mrs. Nancy Stanley was a native of Vermilion county, Indiana, and lived in that county until she married Leonard Everly. She then came with her husband in the fall of 1854, to Cass county, Iowa. In the fall of 1855 her husband purchased a farm in Pottawattamie county, and moved on it, their nearest neighbor being two miles away. They owned a number of farms in Cass and adjoining counties. he was a noted trader, and was drafted into the army, and remained in service till he was honorably discharged at the close of the war.
