DR. J. I. POGUE

Doctor J. I. Pogue, located at the town of Wiota, in August, 1877. He is a native of Ohio, born in the year 1848, but removed, when a child, with his parents, to Kendall county, Illinois. He began the study of medicine, at Aurora, Illinois, with Doctor M. Davis, in 1872, but entered the Chicago Medical College in 1875, and graduated from that institution in the spring of 1877. He practiced for a short time at Lisbon, Illinois, and came here, as above stated. He was united in marriage in October, 1879, with Miss Minnie Buckley, a native of Washington county, New York and they have one child--Grace. The doctor has a drug store in Wiota, also.
