Rev. William E. Howe
Rev. Howe, pastor of the M. E. Church was born in Penn. August
30, 1849. In 1865 his parents came to Muscatine, Iowa. That city
was his home until he reached his maturity. After finishing the
school courses he entered the Biblical Methodist Episcopal
Conference and was given a charge. Since that time he has been
constantly engaged in the work. He at once took a prominent
place among the ministers of his church and has always held it.
He has had charge of some of the largest and most important
fields in the state. He came from Osceola after the last
conference so is yet a comparatively new man here but he is
rapidly becoming acquainted with the work and is making many
friends in the city. He married Miss Anna Boydston of Muscatine.
They have a family of four children. |
