Mary H. Keiser

Mary H. Keiser, 87, of Rockwell City, died Sunday, February 4, 2001 at the Sunny Knoll Care Center in Rockwell City. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 7, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Fonda, with the Rev. Harry D. McAlpine officiating. Burial was in the St. Martins Catholic Cemetery in Odebolt.

Survivors include husband, Lester, Rockwell City; sons, John Hoefling, Odebolt and Douglas Hoefling, Galesburg, Illinois; step-daughter, Georgia Schramm, Pocahontas; step-sons, Lowell Keiser, Hastings, Nebraska, and James Keiser, Naples, Florida; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elmira Morkin Armstrong.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Mary Sampers Haselhoff, first husband Earl Hoefling, brother Alvin; and numerous half brothers and sisters.

Mary Haselhoff was born August 3, 1913, in Early. She married Earl Hoefling in 1939 in Sioux City. He died in 1969. She married Lester Keiser in 1970.
