Herman D. Fergason Rites At Lake City

LAKE CITY -- Private funeral services for Herman D. Fergason, 77, of Lake City, will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at Karn Funeral Home. Father Gaul, Chariton, will officiate. Burial will be at Gowrie.

Mr. Fergason died Monday at McCrary-Rost Hospital, Lake City, after a long illness. His wife, the late Grace Fergason, preceded him in death.

He is survived by three sons, Marvin Fergason of Des Moines, Glenn Fergason of Clear Lake and James Fergason of Glendale, Ariz.; two grand-children; and one great-grandchild.
