Daisy Betenbender Lake City Graphic, Calhoun Co, IA Funeral services for Mrs. Harry (Daisy) Betenbender (81) were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 at the Woodlawn Church here. The Rev. John Holland officiating. Interment was in the Lake City Cemetery. Mrs. Betenbender died early Monday, July 22 at Shady Oaks Nursing Home here. A daughter of Willis Buttolph and Nancy Johnson, she was born Nov. 15, 1892. She lived near Lake City her entire life and was married to Harry Betenbender June 3, 1914 in Fort Dodge. Mrs. Betenbender was a member of Woodlawn Christian Church here and a telephone operator in the area for 20 years. She was a member of Business Professional Women. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Wilbur Chase of Lake City. Her husband and three brothers preceded her in death.. Submitted by Merna Hansen |
