Mrs. Annie Boynton

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Boynton, 78, will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Bruce's. Senior Major Jack Cheyne, retired Salvation Army officer will conduct the rites. Burial will be in the Cedar cemetery near Rinard.

Mrs. Boynton is a former resident of Farnhamville and Somers, had made her home in Fort Dodge for the past 12 years. She died Thursday afternoon at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Darrell Chambers, 522 Third Ave. North. She had made her home with Mr. & Mrs. Chambers for the past 8 years.

Born Oct. 28, 1876, in Wilton Center, ILL. Mrs. Boynton was the former Annie Graves. Her parents were the late Mr. & Mrs. William H. Graves. She was married to Clarence Boynton at Wilton Center in 1901. The couple lived in IL. until 1908, when they moved to Farnhamville, Iowa. Later they lived in Somers. Mr. Boynton died 25 years ago.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bert Anderson of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Chambers of Fort Dodge: Eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Her husband, her parents, two sisters, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild preceded her in death.
