Aaron H. Chambers Lake City Graphic IN MEMORIAM Aaron H. Chambers was born Feb. 21, 1861, at Loudon, Cedar county, Iowa. He with his parents moved to Calhoun county in 1872 which, though he has traveled over a large portion of the United States, has continued to be his home. He had an honest generous heart; trusting readily his associates whether good or evil. In March, 1890, he made a profession of religion and united with the Christian church at Lake City. In February last while at Blockton, Iowa, he was taken sick. He was brought home and in better nursing and medical attendance hopes were entertained of his recovery. But he had no hopes of his recovery and bravely met death saying he was ready. Before his last delirium he made full arrangements for his burial. He died April 15, 1891; aged 30 years, 1 month, 24 days. He was buried in the Union cemetery whither his remains were followed by many sorrowing friends. Gone to the glorious realms above; |
