Married

A quiet wedding of interest to the people of Lake City took place at Rockwell City on last Saturday, November 24, 1917 at noon, when Miss Nina Noe was married to Private Edward H. Boicourt, now stationed at Camp Dodge. The ceremony was performed at the M. E. parsonage by Rev. C. H. Van Metre and was witnessed by Mr. and Mrs. L. Z. Smith brother-in-law and sister of the bride.

Mr. Boicourt has made his home at Lake City the past few years and when called to Camp Dodge was local manager for the Iowa Light, Heat & Power Co., which position he filled to the satisfaction of employers and patrons. He was summoned from Camp Dodge to finish up some business for the company and took advantage of the opportunity to attend to this important affair for himself.

The bride has been employed by the Central Mutual Telephone Co. for several years and is manager of the company’s business at this place. They are estimable young people who are held in high regard by their many friends and acquaintances. Mr. Boicourt returned to Camp Dodge Monday to report for duty.
