GHERHARDT-RAMIGE - At the home of the brides father in Lake Creek township, on Thursday, May 23, at 11 o'clock a.m. Rev. Carl Gherhardt to Miss Ella Ramige, Presiding Elder Henn officiating.

The above happy event taking place in the presence of eighty invited guests, among whom were the groom's father and mother from Aplington, Lew Gherhardt, Fort Dodge, Rev. O. Gherhardt, LeMars, brothers of groom, Presiding Elder Henn, of Fort Dodge, and Miss Louisa Schaffer, LeMars.

After the wedding ceremony was over and congratulations extended, an excellent dinner prepared by the hand of the bride's sister, Miss Addie, was served. The groom is a minister of gospel in charge of the German Evangelical Church societies here and Pocahontas county and during his stay here has made many friends.

We congratulate him in securing such an excellent young lady as Miss Ella for a lifelong helpmeet in the work he has chosen, for she will indeed prove a helpmeet which anyone might feel proud in securing.

Their many friends join in wishing a pleasant and prosperous voyage through life. The happy couple were the recipients of many handsome and valuable gifts.
