Mark A. Chapman and Maria S. Gabriel

TWAIN MADE ONE
Two Popular Business People Commit to Matrimony

The realization of a long anticipated event occurred at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Gabriel last Sunday. Our popular citizen and merchant, Mark A. Chapman, plighted his troth with Miss Maria S. Gabriel, a deservedly successful and popular milliner.

The twain were made one at 6 o'clock P.M. by Rev. Harper. of the U.B. Church, and will henceforth, we trust, travel life's matrimonial sea without a wave of discontent, and with only enough of life's vicissitudes to develop the full round man hood and woman hood of each.

As above stated, Mr. Chapman is a merchant, a member of the firm of Chapman Bros., grocers. A successful and wide-awake business man and a first-class citizen, he is eminently worthy the practical helpmate he has secured in the person of the bride.

Miss Gabriel has for years been conducting a profitable millinery business in Lake City, and her experience will be of much practical value to the worthy couple in years to come.

Mr. and Mrs. Chapman will be at home at the northeast corner of Illinois and Madison streets, in the house lately vacated by L.L. Shirts.

The congratulations and very best wishes of the host of friends of the contracting parties are being extended, and none are more genuine than those hereby extended by the GRAPHIC.
