Edson Brimmer, age 57, died at 1 a.m. today, Wednesday, at his home in the Fourth Ward. Mr. Brimmer had been ill for the past week with pneumonia. Funeral services will be held next Friday, January 4th at 2 p.m. The services will be conducted by Reverend Floyd H. Weed of the Methodist Church. Internment will be in the Otterville Cemetery.

  Mr. Brimmer was born at Boscobel, Wisconsin. He came to this county with his parents when a young man. Ever since this had been his residence. In 1908 he was united in marriage with Miss Ella Buttes. Mrs. Brimmer died thirteen years ago. Mr. Brimmer was the tiler by trade. There survive seven children, five sons and two daughters, who are as follows: Willard, Clifford, George, Gilbert, and Edson, Junior, Marguerite, and Edith, all of the Independence.
