Charles Albin had a brother Charles Achile Schaffter who ended up in Toronto Canada. He was a marble sculptor. His whereabouts between the time his parents died in Wells Co. Indiana in 1847 and his arrival in Canada (before 1869) are a wee mystery. Charles married Eliza Hastings of Ireland either in the States or after arriving in Canada. Do you have any info about Charles Achile for the period 1847 to 1868that you could share with me? Many thanks,
