Funeral Held Friday for Kanawha Resident
Kanawha - Funeral services were held Friday at the Kanawha Lutheran church for Henry H. Severson, with burial in the local cemetery, the Rev. F. R. Lien in charge.

Henry H. Severson was born in Klubben, Norway, Dec 21, 1869. He died at the Belmond hospital Tuesday morning following a brief illness. He came to America in 1880, settling in Illinois. His wife was Margaret Johnson, to whom he was married in 1893, and 9 children were born. They farmed in this vicinity 24 years, retired and moved into town. His wife died in 1914, also one daughter, Hazel, in 1943.

Eight children survive, as follows: Mrs. Elmer Anderson of Britt; (Minnie), Mrs. Andrew Heggen of Kanawha; Mrs. Andrew Peterson of Britt; Harvey Severson of Kanawha; Mrs. Arthur Chelsvig of Kanawha; Mrs. Leonard Anderson of Scobey, Mont.; Mrs. Ardo Anderson of Kanawha; Mrs. Elmer Zeigler of Woden. There are 30 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
