Hemmo Beek Services Are Wednesday

GOODELL - Funeral services for Hemmo Beek, 76, Goodell, will be held Wednesday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Fulton Funeral Home, Belmond, and at 2 p.m. at the Reformed Church in Klemme. The Rev. Vernon Jaaberg will officiate. A retired farmer, Mr. Beek died Sunday at his home here where he had lived for the last five years. Born in Germany, Mr. Beek came to Goodell at the age of 13. He married Johanna Weigmann in 1905. Survivors include his wife; five sons, Carl, Revillo, S.D.; Bernard, Mason City; Herman, Belmond; John, Clear Lake; and George, Goodell; four daughters, Mrs. John (Minnie) Trample, Rockwell; Mrs. William (Freda) Wessells, Kanawha, Mrs. John (Dena) Van Osten, Meservey; and Mrs. John (Katherine) Howell, Clarion. Two children preceded him in death.
