JOHN LAUDEN PASSES AWAY

John Lauden passed away Monday noon. He had been suffering for a long time of cancer of the stomach and death came as a relief to his period of long suffering. John Lauden was born at Mecklenburg Schwerin, Germany, May 4, 1863. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock at the house and at 2:00 o'clock services were conducted at the German Reformed church by Rev. Thiel. Interment took place at the Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme, Iowa.
