February 9, 1924 --- March 6, 2011

CORWITH, IA - Pauline M. Weber, 87, of Corwith, passed away on March 6, 2011, at the Kossuth County Regional Hospital in Hospice Care in Algona. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wesley. Family and friends may greet the family an hour and a half before the church service.

Pauline was born on Feb. 9, 1924, in LuVerne to William and Theresia Neuroth. She graduated from St. Cecilia's Academy in Algona. She married Frank Weber on Nov. 14, 1944, in Oceanside, Calif. They were married for 64 years before Frank passed away on Oct. 31, 2009. Pauline was the wife of a lifelong farmer, but she also worked as a riveter in an airplane factory in California during the war. She and Frank worked for Winnebago Industries together delivering motor homes for 18 years. Pauline was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Corwith for 55 years until its closing in 2002; she then became a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wesley. Pauline was a member of the St. Mary's Guild and the American Legion. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching television and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all.

Survivors include children Cynthia (Roger) McBride of Rudd, Jean (Rick) Kendall of McCook, Neb., Connie (Gary) Noah of Des Moines, Dave (Judy) Weber of Corwith and Linda (Terry) McLaughlin of Des Moines; thirteen grandchildren: Julie, Jennifer, Nicolle, Matthew, Michael, Jana, Bryan, Emily, Sarah, Zachary, Elise, Garrett and Connor; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Esther Ferrigan, of Chicago, Ill. Pauline was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank, her parents, three brothers and three sisters and an infant daughter, Julie Kay Weber. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Pauline's honor to Macular Degeneration Research.
