ALGONA, IA — Graveside service for Alvina Fish, 85, is 2 p.m. Saturday at Corwith Cemetery, Corwith. Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home of Algona is in charge of arrangements.

Alvina Theresa Fish was born August 18, 1921 in Wesley, IA, the daughter of George and Clara Puls Weig. Alvina married Clarence Fish in June of 1960. He predeceased her on December 28, 1997.

Alvina Theresa Fish, 85, of South Beloit, IL, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 in Beloit Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Shear of South Beloit, IL; grandchildren, Michelle Buckner, Mike Fisch Jr., Bryan Fisch, Nancy Suggs, Matt Fisch and Jim Fisch; brother, George (Jerry) Weig of Algona, IA. She was predeceased by her parents, two sons, Michael Fisch and Peter Fisch, one sister, Florence Weig and one brother, Lawrence Weig.
