KLEMME, IA -- Myrtle Irene Lemke, 89, of Klemme, died Tuesday (July 16, 1996) at the Concord Care Center, Garner. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Klemme, with the Rev. Ken Fineran of the United Methodist Church, Belmond, officiating. Burial will be in the Ell Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the United Methodist Church, Klemme.

Myrtle Irene Lemke was born Nov. 15, 1906, near Piper City, Ill. Survivors include one son, Earl Lemke of Des Moines; one daughter, Joan Hrubes of Britt; three brothers, Emery Geisler of Nora Springs; Lyle Geisler of Rockford and Warren Geisler of Moline, Ill.; two sisters, Dorothy Schmitt of Rockford and Arlis Meyer of Garner; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one grandson.
