KANAWHA, IA — Walter H. Moeller, 88, died Saturday (Sept. 12, 1998) in Kanawha. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kanawha Lutheran Church with the Rev. Keith Sievers officiating. Burial will be in the Amsterdam Cemetery with military graveside services under the direction of the Kanawha American Legion. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ewing-Dugger Funeral Chapel, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Walter H. Moeller was born Dec. 19, 1909, in Eicholz, Germany. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Moeller of Kanawha; one son, Walter Lee Moeller of Simi Valley, Calif.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter in infancy, two brothers, and one sister.
