March 11, 1862 -- August 4, 1947

Minnie Anna Stille was born May 11th, 1862, in Franklin County, Missouri. the eldest of a family of six children born to her parents, Henry and Louisa (Stiniekter) Stille. She was baptized in the Methodist Church ,as an infant, and in 1874, when she was 12 years old the family sold their mill at Demolt, Mo., and moved to Liberty township, having purchased the farm where the Liberty Church now stands. In the fall of 1880, when Minnie Stille was 18, and Ernest H. Schuldt was 24, this pair of young people was married. They commenced housekeeping on the farm now occupied by Henry A. Greimann, and a few years later purchased a farm two miles west of Klemme. Mr. Ernest Schuldt, the husband and father of this household was a jovial and contented fellow, who was: too big to waste his time and strength in needless worry. Mrs. Minnie Schuldt, the wife and mother of this household was a most thrifty housekeeper and was known throughout all of Liberty Township as a most excellent cook. Six healthy chi1dren were privileged to grow up in this happy pioneer home. In 1914, after farming in Liberty township for 34 years, Ernest and Minnie Schuldt moved to a small acreage on the south edge of Klemme where they specialized in raising flowers and doing many other things real well which they had not found time to do while they farmed in a large way. Thus they lived until 1928 when Mr. Ernest Schuldt passed on. And now on Monday, August 4th, 1947, a heart attack brings the life of Mrs. Minnie Schuldt to a close at 85 years, 2 months and 24 days, and even though her earthly life is ended. still her influence lives on in the lives of the following 37 descendants: Six children: (Alice) Mrs. Wes Haefner, Wesley J. Schuldt, (Addie) Mrs. C. F. Busch, (Lydia) Mrs. Vic Schoenwetter, (Edna) Mrs. John Suckow, (Geneva) Mrs. D. P. Anderson, also 16 grand children and 15 great grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters: (Lizzie) Mrs. F. Gruetzmacher, (Emma) Mrs. John Terhufen; three brothers: Wm. F. Stille, Herman J. Stille and John E. Stille; and many more distant relatives and friends.
