Funeral services for Stanley D. Helps, 42, Garner, who died Sunday at a Mason Ciy hospital, will be 1:30 PM Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Merlin Peterson officiating. Visitation will be until time of services at the Bohn Funeral Home with burial in the Concord Cemetery, Garner. Mr. Helps, manager of the tire department at Co-op Oil Co Garner, who served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1954-1957, and was a member of the American Legion, is survived by his wife, Sylvia; three daughters, DeEtta, Denise, and Dixie, and a son, Darrel, all at home; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Dwight Helps, Klemme; two sisters, Mrs. Russel (JoAnn) Verhelst, Klemme; and Mrs. Lowell (Eunice) Broer, New Providence; and a brother, Raymond, Klemme.
