Kenneth E. Stahl, 41, of Klemme, died on Sunday, January 30, 2005, at the Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, February 2, at the Peace Reformed Church, south of Garner with the Rev. Jeff DeBoer officiating. Music will be provided by organist, Connie Greiman who will accompany a congregational hymn and a duet of Brenda Anderson and Brent Renner. Ushers will be Bill Katter and Steve Lenz. Casket bearers will be Merlyn Assink, Sam Velau, Chuck Helps, David Dirksen, John Larson and Todd Waage. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, at the Cataldo Funeral Home, 160 E. 4th St., Garner and one hour prior to the services at the church.

Kenneth Eugene Stahl, the son of Virgil and Berniece (Ruter) Stahl, was born on April 28, 1963 at Belmond. He was baptized on June 23, 1963 at the Peace Reformed Church. He attended Happy ARC in Garner and was tutored at home by Mrs. Don Bacon. He lived at home for 17 years until he entered the Concord Care Center in Garner. In 1993, he moved to the Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City. He was a member of the Peace Reformed Church.

Kenneth is survived by his parents, Virgil and Berniece Stahl of Klemme; his brother, Wayne (Brenda) Stahl of Belmond; nieces and nephew, Renee, Breanna and Nathan Stahl; and his paternal grandmother, Myra Stahl of Belmond. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Pete and Anna Ruter; his paternal grandfather, Lewis Stahl; and a nephew, Joshua Stahl.
