KANAWHA, IA — Ethel A. Swyter, 84, of Kanawha, died Wednesday (Nov. 5, 1997) at the Kanawha Community Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. G. David Daley officiating. Burial will be in Amsterdam Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ewing Dugger Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church.

Ethel was born Dec. 10, 1912, in Ulster Park, N.Y. Survivors include her husband, Gerald L. Swyter of Kanawha; two stepsons, Marvin Swyter of Fort Madison and Gary Swyter of San Dimas, Calif.; one sister, Ruth Sasser of Prescott, Ariz.; five stepgrandchildren; and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother and two step great-grandsons.
